She has been a professional piper with Queensland Police Pipes and Drums since 2005, and holds Piping and Ensemble Adjudication Certificates from Pipe Bands Australia, as well as formal qualifications in Choral Music Performance and Music Education from the University of Victoria in Canada.īorn in Lochore in Scotland, Sam started his drumming career as Leading Side of the Ballingry High School Novice Juvenile then Juvenile pipe bands. Hazel is a distinguished and experienced adjudicator, teacher, and performer, who has played at most levels of band and solo competition and now regularly judges in local competitions as well.
